Summit Basecamp

Your website, finally in your hands.

Summit Basecamp lets you edit your website in plain English, preview every change on desktop and mobile, and publish when you're ready. And the Summit team still has your back for the big stuff.

What you can do

Quick updates, without the wait.

Say what you want to change

Describe your update in plain English. Summit Basecamp drafts it for you to approve or dismiss. Select text in the preview to target the exact spot.

Make the small edits yourself

Edit supported fields directly. Character counters keep wording in check, and markers show what differs from your live site.

Keep your photos current

Upload JPG, PNG or WebP photos from your computer or phone. Phone photos are turned upright automatically. Add a photo description for accessibility and search.

Check every screen before going live

Preview your draft on desktop and mobile, side by side, before visitors see it.

Publish on your terms

Save your work as a draft. When it looks right, publish and confirm. Nothing goes live before that.

Undo without starting over

Every save and publish is recorded in History. Restore an earlier version into your draft, review it, then publish.

Keep your events up to date

Add, edit, reorder, hide, delete and restore events with dates, times, photos and ticket links (for sites with events).

Work with the view that suits you

Tools and preview side by side, either one alone, or full screen.

Stay in safe editing territory

Only approved areas are editable, links and photo addresses are checked, and if two people edit at once the second person is warned instead of overwriting.

What stays with the Summit team

You handle quick updates. We handle the build.

New pages, new sections, and layout and design changes stay with the Summit team.

Send these as a “Layout / code change” request from inside Summit Basecamp. The Summit team reviews every request, and nothing changes on your site until it's reviewed.
