This describes what this website and the Summit client portal actually collect today. It is a working draft under review and will be updated as our services change.
What we collect
- Enquiries. If you send us a message, we store your name, email address, optional company name, the topic you selected, your message and the page you sent it from.
- Programme applications. For Agency or Affiliate Programme applications we store your contact details, company name, website, whether you actively manage client relationships, the number of clients you manage if you tell us, and any detail you add.
- Accounts. If you create an account we store your email address, your name, your business name, and an authentication record managed by our hosting provider. We never see or store your password.
- Portal activity. Your onboarding intake answers, support requests, when you open our booking page, transfer quote requests, cancellation requests and any retention option applied to your account. Privileged actions on your account are recorded in an audit log.
- Campaign requests and attribution. If you ask us to email you a membership's details from one of our campaign pages, we store your email address, which membership you asked about, the page you were on and the campaign details that were in the link you clicked. If you create an account we also store the membership you selected and the same campaign details with your account, so we know which campaign brought you.
- Campaign page counts. On our campaign pages we record an anonymous count of page views and clicks on the signup button, together with which membership the page was for, whether the screen was desktop or mobile size, and the campaign details in the link. These counts contain no name, email address, IP address or any other identifier, and we cannot link them to you.
- Billing. Card details are collected and stored by our payment provider on their own pages, never by Summit. We store a cached copy of your subscription and invoice records so your portal can display them.
What we do not do on this site
This website does not run a visitor identification or company-matching tracker. We do not claim your browsing here is anonymised beyond what standard web server logs imply: requests to our hosting include technical information such as IP address and browser user agent.
Why we hold it
To reply to you, to deliver the service you have asked for, to operate billing, and to keep accurate records of decisions affecting your account.
Who else processes it
Our hosting and database provider, our payment provider, our email provider and our existing customer relationship management system. We do not sell your information.
Cookies and your browser
What the site needs to work is limited to your cookie choice, your sign-in session if you sign in, and interface state. Two analytics tools are installed — Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity — and they run by default and stop when you opt out of analytics; the same applies to the two campaign attribution values we store ourselves, which are kept for at most 30 days and removed if you opt out of analytics. Meta Pixel (an advertising tool from Meta) runs by default and stops when you opt out of marketing; it records page views, signup-button clicks and plan-details requests, and when you send a consultation request or book a call we also send Meta a server-side record of it (plan, campaign source, browser type and any Facebook click ID, never your name or email) unless you have opted out of marketing. A Global Privacy Control signal is honored as an opt-out of marketing. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland these tools are off by default and load only after you accept them; we determine the region from the country our hosting provider reports for your connection (or, if unavailable, your browser's time zone) and do not store it. The Cal.com booking calendar is a functional tool that loads so you can book a call and may set its own cookies; our tracking of bookings follows your cookie choice. No visitor-identification tool is installed on this site. The full audited list, and how to change or withdraw your choice, is in our cookie notice.
