Summit Signal

Turn website interest into a clearer next move.

Signal is how we make sense of what is happening on your website: understanding how people engage, uncovering company context where it can be established, prioritising the growth work that matters next, and helping your team follow up on the interest that is genuinely there.

What Signal is

Two parts. One clearer picture.

One part is delivered by our team today. The other is a platform we are building. They are designed to feed the same decisions, and their availability is different — so we keep them clearly labelled.

Available through agreed service scope

Managed growth analysis

Our team reviews how your site is performing, agrees with you what deserves attention, implements the work within your membership scope, then reviews what changed. AI helps us move through research and analysis faster. A substantial part of this is human work, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

  • Review the evidence and what it means for your business
  • Agree the priorities for the period
  • Implement within your membership scope
  • Review results and feed them into the next cycle

Visitor intelligence platform

Software that reads consent-aware website activity, filters out noise, associates a visit with an organisation where the available data supports it, and puts that in front of a person to review before anything is acted on. It is being built and verified in its own project.

We are not putting a date on it, we are not pricing it yet, and we are not saying which memberships will include it. When a capability is genuinely ready, we will describe it as available — and not before.

Interested in it for your business? Tell us and we will keep you posted.

Capabilities

What your website can tell you

Six things worth understanding about the interest your site is already attracting. Where something is still being built, it says so on the panel.

  • Journeys and return visits

How people actually move through the site: which page brought them in, what they read next, and whether they came back.

    • Entry pages that do the real work of attracting interest
    • Paths that lead to an enquiry, and paths that stall
    • Return patterns that suggest sustained interest

  • Company context, where it can be established

    In development

Where available data supports it, a visit can be associated with an organisation rather than a person — with the evidence and a confidence label attached.

    • Source and confidence shown next to every match
    • Unmatched visits stay visible as unmatched, never guessed
    • No individual person and no contact details

  • Prioritising by engagement

Attention is finite. Deeper engagement and repeat visits help decide where the next piece of work should go.

    • Engagement is a signal, not proof that someone intends to buy
    • Weighting is explained rather than hidden in a score
    • Used to order work, not to make promises

  • Reviewed recommendations

Findings become a short, ordered list of things worth doing — read and decided on by the people accountable for the result.

    • Each recommendation carries the reasoning behind it
    • You agree what gets picked up in the month

  • Alerts and CRM handoff

    In development · configuration dependent

Where it is eligible and configured, notable activity can be sent to the people who need it, or written into the CRM your team already uses.

    • Opt-in, so nobody is buried in notifications
    • Repeat activity is grouped rather than sent again and again
    • Depends on your CRM allowing the access — assessed in discovery

  • Review and progress reporting

The platform, step by step

In development

How visitor intelligence is designed to work

Every stage below belongs to the platform being built, not to something running on your site today. We are describing the design so you can judge it — including what it deliberately will not do.

  1. 01In development

    Consent-aware activity

Nothing is collected outside what a visitor's consent choices allow, and what is collected is described in the privacy notice.

  2. 02In development

    Obvious noise removed

Bots, crawlers and your own team's visits are filtered out before anything is interpreted.

  3. 03In development

    Company matched where supported

Where available data supports an organisation-level association, it is made. Where it does not, the visit stays unmatched.

  4. 04In development

    Evidence and confidence attached

Every match records where it came from and how strong it is, so it can be judged rather than trusted blindly.

  5. 05In development

    Reviewed by the team

A person reads what came through and decides whether it means anything worth acting on.

  6. 06In development

    Eligible alert or CRM handoff

Only where it is eligible and configured does anything leave the system — as an alert, or a record in your CRM.

The unmatched path is normal

Plenty of visits will never be associated with an organisation. Those stay in the picture as unmatched activity — still useful for understanding pages and journeys, never dressed up as something more.

What it will not do

It will not identify individual people, supply contact details, guarantee a company match, or send outreach on your behalf. Handoff into a CRM depends on the access that CRM allows, assessed case by case.

Examples

From a signal to an action

Three hypothetical situations, written to show how a signal turns into a decision. They are examples of reasoning, not results we are reporting.

  1. 01Hypothetical

    Repeated interest in one service

The same service page draws sustained interest over a couple of weeks. If that organisation is already a contact your team knows and it is appropriate to follow up, that context helps them choose what to say. If it is not a known contact, it stays a website insight — not a lead to call.

  2. 02Hypothetical

Engagement that never reaches the form

People read deeply, then leave without enquiring. That points at friction worth investigating: the form asking too much, the price question unanswered, the next step unclear. The work goes into the page, not into chasing anyone.

  3. 03Hypothetical

A topic that keeps earning attention

One subject consistently pulls people in. That tells us what to write next and which pages to strengthen, so the site keeps attracting the kind of interest you want more of.

An anonymous visit is not a contactable lead, and Signal does not send outreach on your behalf.

Inside a membership

How Signal supports your growth membership

Today, Signal is the thinking behind the monthly work: review, prioritise, implement, review again — inside the scope you agreed.

Our team fixes

Experts accountable for the result choose what to change and why. Recommendations are agreed with you before they are implemented.

AI accelerates

AI helps us work through research, analysis and drafting faster, so more of the month goes into the work that shows on your site.

The platform is separate

The visitor intelligence platform is in development in its own project. If you want to talk about it for your business, we can — without inventing a launch date, a price or an inclusion.

Data and accuracy

What to expect, stated plainly.

Signal is decision support. It gives you better-informed choices, not certainty — and we would rather set that expectation than oversell it.

This website does not run a visitor identification tracker. What we collect here, and how your consent choices apply, is described in our privacy notice and cookie notice.

Checklist of what a site needs before Signal can startWhat your site needs for SignalLoads securely (https), main menu links workEasy to use on a phonePhone taps to call, contact form sendsName, address, phone and areas are correctNo leftover placeholder textWe or your web team can add the Signal tagIf any of these fail, we will tell you, and usually recommend a fresh site.
  • Company context, where available

Organisation-level association is possible where the available data supports it — not on every visit.

  • Some visits stay unmatched

Unmatched is a normal, visible outcome. We do not fill the gap with a guess.

  • Consent choices are respected

What can be collected follows the choices a visitor makes, on any site where this is deployed.

  • Signals need interpretation

Engagement suggests interest. It is not proof that someone is ready to buy, and a person reads it before it is acted on.

Questions

Straight answers

How is this different from ordinary website analytics?
Analytics tells you what happened. Signal is the layer of interpretation on top. Signal identifies, our team fixes. Our team reads the evidence, decides what it means for your business, and turns it into an ordered list of work we actually do. The visitor intelligence platform in development adds organisation-level context to that picture where it can be established.
Does it identify every visitor?
No. Many visits cannot be associated with an organisation at all, and those stay visible as unmatched. Any match carries a source and a confidence label so it can be judged.
Does it give me individual people or contact details?
No. We do not market individual visitor identification, and Signal is not a way to obtain someone's email address or phone number from a website visit.
Do I need a Summit-built website?
The growth analysis works with the site you have. What is technically possible on someone else's platform depends on the access it allows, which we assess before promising anything.
Is Signal included in my membership, or a separate product?
The expert-managed analysis and improvement work is how your membership is delivered, within the scope you agreed. The visitor intelligence platform is in development, and we have not set a launch date, a price or which memberships it will be included in. If you want it when it is ready, tell us and we will keep you in the loop.
Will it change my website automatically?
No. Recommendations are reviewed by people, agreed with you, and then implemented within your membership scope. Signal identifies; our team fixes. Nothing changes without a person.
What is the next step?
A short conversation about your site, your market and what a better next move would look like. Send us the detail or book a call — there is nothing to sign up for.
